  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 cups cooked and cooled jasmine rice
  • 2 large sweet onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 stalks green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in soy sauce and sesame oil for 15 minutes.
  2. In a skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and sauté sweet onions until translucent and golden brown; set aside.
  3. Stir-fry the marinated beef in the same skillet until browned and cooked through (5-7 minutes). Return onions to the pan.
  4. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Then mix in cooled jasmine rice, breaking up clumps.
  5. Stir in green onions, seasoning with salt and pepper. Heat through before serving.
