  • For Topping: 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in milk and vanilla until combined.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  7. Pour the remaining batter over it, then top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture and swirl gently.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown; cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
