Ingredients
Scale
1.3 pounds ground beef
4 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 yellow onion (grated)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp heavy cream
1 egg
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 yellow onion (diced)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
½ cup low sodium chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp chopped dill (more for serving)
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix grated onion, ground beef, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, heavy cream, and egg until just combined. Shape into four patties about ¾ inch thick.
Heat olive oil and butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
Remove patties and set aside on a plate. In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
Add salt, pepper, and flour; stir well. Pour in chicken broth while scraping up browned bits from the skillet.
Stir in heavy cream and dill; bring to a boil before returning patties to the skillet. Simmer for an additional 5-6 minutes until heated through.
