  • 1/4 tsp salt (for caramel)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (for frosting)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until golden brown; set aside to cool.
